Safety
The treadmills in the Incline Trainer series from NordicTrack have a unique safety system that regulates the speed when inclined. As customer safety is a top priority, NordicTrack uses this system to prevent serious incidents between its components and to ensure the safety of the user. Below you will find more information to ensure the best possible use of your equipment.

The ratio between incline and speed is shown in the table below:

If the incline setting is below 0% or above 15.5%, the highest speed setting cannot be selected. This information can be found in the operating instructions supplied with the device.

2. braking system of the Incline trainers from Nordic Track
The NordicTrack Incline series has an electronic braking system designed to maintain the belt speed at the previously set incline. The braking system supplies the correct voltage to the motor to keep the speed constant. At a certain speed and incline, the motor controller switches off for a very short time, giving the impression that the treadmill is stopping and restarting. This is to ensure the safety of the user and the device by controlling the amount of tension

Recommendation: at low speed, the side handles of the treadmill should be used.
